FOTON Sees Strong Growth in April

May 09,2025

In April, Foton Motors sold 8,193 new energy vehicles (NEVs), up 203% compared to the same month last year. This marks the fourth straight month of strong growth.

Among the highlights:Auman NEV sales grew 322%; Aumark iBlue grew 204%;Aulin iBlue grew 559%

This growth shows Foton’s firm push in the new energy field. The company is focusing on its own technology and building a smart service system to stay competitive.

On the tech side, Foton has built three main NEV lines: pure electric, hybrid, and hydrogen. It now offers electric light trucks, hybrid heavy trucks, and hydrogen-powered vehicles. These trucks are made to save energy, work efficiently, and perform well even in tough conditions.

Foton also launched its service brand “AIECO” to support users through the whole vehicle lifecycle. This includes charging, leasing, smart management, after-sales service, and second-hand vehicle solutions.

Heavy trucks are also doing well. In April, Foton’s heavy truck sales went up 121%, and NEV heavy trucks rose 322%. The diesel-powered Auman Galaxy series is popular in key logistics areas for its strong power and smart features. On the new energy side, Foton offers electric, hybrid, and hydrogen options for ports, long-haul, cold chain, and more, helping these sectors go green.

Foton’s global exports are growing too. In April, it exported 14,033 vehicles, up 11.4%. Sales of high-value products like Auman, Aumark, Forland, Toano, and pickups all grew by more than 60%.

Foton is speeding up its global “GREEN30·30” strategy. The company now has 22 KD (knock-down) factories and over 2,000 service outlets around the world, reaching more than 130 countries and regions. In April, Foton’s 12 millionth vehicle rolled off the line at its Brazil factory, marking a big step in its local production in the Americas.

With strong momentum in NEVs, heavy trucks, and exports, Foton is moving quickly toward high-quality development. Looking ahead, the company will keep driving innovation and push for cleaner, smarter, and more global commercial vehicle solutions.
