www.chinatrucks.com: CAAM released sales data that sales of tractors are increasing dramatically in Feb., sales of cargo vans increased slightly, sales of chassis of trucks decreased, and 78,119 truck chassis were sold, up 3.78% over last year.

Freight volumes are increasing in Feb., and the freight volumes were 2.21 billion tons, up 16.3%, and the freight turnover were 39.76 billion tons km, up 16.16%. And the freight volumes were 4.52 billion tons in Jan. and Feb., and the freight turnover were 80.77 tons km in Jan. and Feb., up 14.4%.
Among the three main transport ways, highway remains the dominating position with slight increasing shares, and shares of railways increased to some extent, and shares of waterway decreased. Highway freight volumes increased by 13.2%, waterway freight volumes increased by 10.6%, and railway freight increased by 3.8%.

39,930 tractors were sold in Jan. and Feb., taking 34.33% of all truck sales, up 5.08% over the proportion last year.
In March, we predict that sales of tractors will be hot.
