In December, China’s sales volume of trucks reached 363,600 units, up by 11.42% compared with that in November and up by 9.60% compared with that in the same period in the previous year. In 2018, China’s sales volume of trucks stood at 3.8856 million units, up by 6.94% year on year.

More specifically, China sold 82,500 units heavy-duty trucks in December, down by 7.53% compared with that in November and up by 24.58% compared with that in the same period in the previous year. The sales volume of medium-duty trucks reached 14,300 units in December, up by 12.91% compared with that in November and down by 41.12% compared with that in the same period in the previous year. The sales volume of light trucks reached 197,500 units in December, up by 20.45% compared with that in November and up by 1.05% compared with that in the same period in the previous year. The sales volume of mini trucks reached 69,300 units in December, up by 14.60% compared with that in November and up by 51.20% compared with that in the same period in the previous year.

For the whole year of 2018, China’s sales volume of heavy-duty trucks reached 1.1479 million units, up by 2.78% year on year; its sales volume of medium-duty trucks reached 177,200 units, down by 22.66% year on year; its sales volume of light trucks registered at 1.895 million units, up by 10.24% year on year; its sales volume of mini trucks stood at 665,600 units, up by 17.08% year on year.
