Backed by more than 40 years of expertise in the light commercial vehicle sector, JMC has been actively advancing its new energy strategy. Bosch, a global leader in automotive technology, provided a full-stack system-level solution for the new platform. The two companies have maintained a close partnership for over two decades, evolving from diesel system collaboration to electric drive and intelligent technologies.

In response to the rising adoption of new energy trucks and the logistics industry’s growing demand for efficiency and intelligence, the new solution focuses on four key values:

• Versatility – optimized for multiple scenarios like express delivery and cold chain logistics;

• Efficiency – fast charging in 30 minutes and nationwide service support;

• Safety & Comfort – advanced safety features, assisted steering, energy recovery, and smart thermal management;

• Cost-effectiveness – high reliability, lower maintenance costs, and optimized insurance savings.

The solution is based on extensive research covering 50+ cities and over 600 logistics companies, helping JMC better understand and respond to real-world customer needs.

To address industry concerns around low residual value of electric trucks, JMC has enhanced the reliability of core components, integrated advanced safety systems, and introduced technologies that boost long-term value. Its commercial platform, Lexing, is already operating nearly 10,000 new energy vehicles across 30+ cities.

This latest launch builds on a deepening partnership. In 2023, the two companies rolled out the Lexing E-Luda electric light truck, followed by the E-Shunda drive platform in 2024. In October, they signed a joint venture agreement to co-develop and commercialize electric drive systems for light-duty trucks.JMC and Bosch Unveil “Super Light Truck System Solution at Shanghai Auto Show

“The Super Light Truck is not just about stacking specs – it’s about redefining value,” said Wu Xiaojun, CEO of JMC’s New Energy Division. “With Bosch and other partners, we’re committed to delivering smarter, greener trucks for the future of logistics.”
