FORLAND Makes a Strong Debut at Morocco's SIAM Expo
May 14,2025

FORLAND’s exhibit featured popular models such as the L5, L5n, L5e, and T5e, offering efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for various logistics applications, including last-mile delivery, farm produce transport, and small business use. Among them, the L5e mini truck emerged as a crowd favorite thanks to its excellent fuel economy, high payload capacity, and competitive pricing. The model attracted significant attention and secured 22 intent-to-purchase orders during the show. Local customers praised it as “a perfect fit for small to medium-scale agricultural transport.”
The event also marked a key milestone in FORLAND’s partnership with its exclusive Moroccan distributor, BM Company. According to BM, FORLAND’s high-performance products and its own well-established sales and service network are highly complementary. Together, they plan to expand across major Moroccan cities, aiming to exceed 1,000 units in annual sales within two years.
“FORLAND trucks offer exactly what Moroccan customers are looking for: fuel efficiency, durability, and affordability,” said the regional head of FORLAND. “As Morocco continues to modernize its agriculture and urban logistics, the demand for light commercial vehicles is rising. We see Morocco as a strategic gateway to the broader Francophone African market.”
Government data from Morocco’s Ministry of Industry shows that commercial vehicle sales in 2024 have grown by 12% year-on-year, with light trucks accounting for more than 60% of the total market. National initiatives like the Green Morocco Plan and major investments in logistics infrastructure are further driving demand for reliable transport solutions.
With a flexible product strategy, localized support from BM Company, and future plans to introduce new energy vehicles such as electric light trucks by 2026, FORLAND is positioning itself as a serious contender in a market traditionally dominated by Japanese and Korean brands.
FORLAND’s presence at SIAM was more than a trade show appearance — it marked the beginning of a long-term strategy to expand in the North African commercial vehicle market. With strong customer feedback, real business orders, and a growing local footprint, the brand is steadily building momentum. As it moves toward local assembly and cleaner transportation solutions, FORLAND is ready to drive sustainable growth across Africa’s commercial vehicle industry.
