The 5th China-Mongolia Expo opened on August 25 at the Chinggis Khan International Convention Center in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the event carried the theme “Deepening Cooperation for Mutual Benefit” and featured high-level forums, trade talks, cultural exchanges and exhibitions, underscoring Inner Mongolia’s growing role in regional and global cooperation.

Beiben Trucks joined the expo with a packed program that included the opening ceremony, the 3rd Northward Opening Trade Fair and the Northward Opening Think Tank Forum. Company representatives also met with government officials, business groups and industry peers to explore new opportunities for collaboration.

In the outdoor exhibition area, Beiben showcased three new energy heavy-duty trucks — a fast-charging model, an all-electric model and a hydrogen-powered model — highlighting its advances in clean transport technology.

The Beiben 2555S fast-charging tractor features 3.5C liquid-cooled charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 90% in just 15 minutes. With an intelligent battery management system and a lightweight 9.7-ton design, the truck delivers quick charging, high power, low weight and strong reliability, making it ideal for short-haul resources, intercity logistics and long-distance coal transport.

The hydrogen-powered tractor is equipped with a 200kW fuel cell that handles heavy loads, steep climbs and extended routes. Its “hydrogen swap” refueling system supplies hydrogen directly from stations, easing refueling challenges while reducing costs and improving efficiency. By replacing diesel with clean energy, the vehicle offers a practical new option for sustainable freight.

Mongolia remains a key overseas market for Beiben. The company’s participation in the expo not only strengthens economic ties with Mongolia and neighboring countries but also builds momentum for future green logistics projects. Beiben says it will continue to focus on green innovation, expand research in new energy commercial vehicles and provide better products and services to support China-Mongolia trade and China’s northward opening strategy.
