Farizon Delivers First 500 Electric Refrigerated Trucks

January 26,2026

Shanghai, January 26/Chinatrucks.org/ — Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicles has delivered the first batch of 500 all-electric refrigerated trucks to Shiquan Cold Chain, marking the start of a strategic partnership between the two companies aimed at supporting the green transition of cold chain logistics.

The delivery ceremony was held in Shanghai on January 22. The vehicles are Xingzhi Jilxian electric refrigerated trucks, with refrigeration systems supported by Carrier Transicold (China) under a one-stop service model.

Farizon said the trucks combine high payload capacity, low energy consumption, and precise temperature control, helping Shiquan reduce operating costs and improve delivery efficiency through cleaner and smarter transportation solutions.

Partnership Targets Low-Carbon Cold Chain Logistics

China’s cold chain logistics sector is undergoing structural changes as policy support, market demand, and technological progress drive the industry toward lower carbon emissions and higher operational efficiency.

Shiquan Cold Chain is a national 5A-rated logistics company specializing in cold chain services. The company provides integrated supply chain solutions for frozen food, dairy products, and fresh produce, covering trunk transportation, less-than-truckload services, urban distribution, multi-temperature warehousing, and B2C cold chain fulfillment.

Shiquan currently operates 25 self-owned subsidiaries across major regions in China, including East, South, North, Central, and Southwest China. Its network includes more than 1,300 refrigerated vehicles, 30 regional warehouses, and over 600,000 square meters of multi-temperature storage capacity.

Farizon is a key player in China’s new energy commercial vehicle market and has ranked among the top sellers of electric light trucks for five consecutive years. The company is developing two main low-carbon technology routes—methanol-hydrogen and battery electric—to support the transition to cleaner transportation.

Farizon has also expanded the use of digital and intelligent technologies in its light truck lineup, including AI-based cloud management and intelligent diagnostics. Combined with customized refrigerated vehicle solutions, the company provides low-emission and reliable transport options for cold chain operations.

Under the partnership, Farizon and Shiquan plan to integrate electric transport capacity, digital temperature control systems, and professional cold chain operations, with the goal of supporting the development of a lower-carbon cold chain logistics network.

Electric Refrigerated Trucks Designed for Cold Chain Operations

As electric refrigerated vehicles gain wider adoption, vehicle reliability and temperature control performance are becoming increasingly important to logistics efficiency and food quality.

To address common challenges such as temperature accuracy, driving range, operating costs, and route adaptability, Farizon has developed the Jilxian series of refrigerated trucks specifically for cold chain use.

The Jilxian lineup includes medium- and heavy-duty trucks, light trucks, small trucks, mini trucks, and VAN models, covering a wide range of urban cold chain logistics scenarios.

Xingzhi H8E Jilxian Enters Service

The main vehicle delivered under this cooperation is the Farizon Xingzhi H8E Jilxian, which is designed for urban and suburban cold chain distribution.

The truck features a 2.4-ton front axle and a 4-ton rear axle, with a cargo volume of 18 cubic meters, making it suitable for bulk transport of fresh food and dairy products. Equipped with refrigeration units from established suppliers, the vehicle can reach -18°C within 20 minutes, with temperature control accuracy of ±1°C.

The vehicle is powered by Farizon’s 133 kWh Xuanwu battery, backed by a 10-year or 800,000-kilometer warranty. A permanent magnet synchronous motor and a HanDe maintenance-free electric drive axle deliver a peak output of 120 kW, ensuring stable performance under full load.

With 2C fast-charging capability, the truck supports a “one charge per day” operating model for urban and suburban delivery routes, helping fleet operators manage daily operations more efficiently.

The Xingzhi H8E Jilxian is used in applications such as supermarket distribution, food service supply chains, cold chain express delivery, pharmaceutical logistics, and agricultural wholesale transport.

Continued Focus on Technology and Sustainability

Farizon said it will continue to focus on technological development and real-world operating needs, further improving its products and services. By working with industry partners, the company aims to provide more efficient, intelligent, and low-emission transportation solutions and support the long-term development of the cold chain logistics sector.
