Powered by a drivetrain optimized for long-haul applications, the X6000 achieved an average fuel consumption of 2.5 km/L (40L/100km) in real-world road testing. Compared with European competitors in the same class, the model delivers approximately 4% lower fuel costs.

Enhancing Driver Comfort and Retention

As logistics routes extend from southern African ports toward inland markets in the north, temperatures rise significantly. In long-distance operations, driver comfort plays a direct role in productivity, safety, and workforce stability.

The X6000 cab has been designed with long-haul living conditions in mind. Standard features include a large-capacity onboard refrigerator, an air-suspension driver’s seat with ventilation and heating functions, and an extra-wide sleeper berth.

These amenities improve onboard comfort during extended journeys and provide fleet operators with a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining experienced drivers.

Strengthened After-Sales Infrastructure

SHACMAN has established more than 60 service stations and six regional spare parts distribution centers across Southeastern Africa. Dedicated high-value spare parts for the X6000 are stocked in advance to ensure availability.

This proactive parts strategy minimizes downtime caused by maintenance and repairs, supporting operational continuity for high-value transport operators.
