June 18,2026
Zhong Junhua, Member of the Party Committee of Jiangling Group, Party Secretary of Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd., and First Executive Vice President, accompanied the entire visit.

The trip focused on market assessment, distribution network development, and local cooperation opportunities. Through direct engagement with dealers and field visits, Jiangling aimed to strengthen its position in key African markets and support sustainable export growth.

South Africa: Strengthening Distribution and Brand Presence
In South Africa, the delegation visited local dealer headquarters and showrooms to discuss brand development and future market expansion plans.

On June 4, Qiu Tiangao attended the opening ceremony of the CLEARWATER showroom in Johannesburg and the launch event of the Grand Avenue pickup truck, where he delivered a speech. Zhong Junhua also participated in local media engagement activities. These events further enhanced Jiangling’s brand visibility and customer outreach in the South African market.

During discussions with partners such as SCG and CFAO, Jiangling reviewed cooperation progress and expressed appreciation for their support in expanding the distribution network.

Qiu Tiangao noted that Jiangling, as a listed company jointly established by Jiangling Group and Ford, has a naturally globalized structure. Expanding overseas markets is therefore a core part of the company’s development strategy.
He added that South Africa is one of Jiangling’s key overseas markets. The company will continue to introduce more vehicle models, maintain high product quality, and further improve pricing strategy, parts supply, and after-sales service. Leveraging its existing distribution network, Jiangling will also enhance service capabilities and gradually expand its product offering from commercial vehicles into passenger vehicles.
Algeria: Expanding Local Production and Capturing Market Growth
Algeria is one of Jiangling’s most important markets in Africa. In 2025, it became the company’s first overseas market to surpass 10,000 units in annual sales under its own brand.
During the visit, the delegation inspected a local KD assembly plant, reviewing vehicle assembly and inspection processes, and meeting frontline employees. The team also visited sales channels in Algiers to assess distribution performance and market feedback.
Qiu Tiangao emphasized Jiangling’s strong commitment to the Algerian market and said the company will continue to support local assembly operations, product introduction, and after-sales service development.
He also encouraged local partners to seize current market growth opportunities and strengthen cooperation to further increase sales volume.
Egypt: Expanding Key Model Cooperation and Product Portfolio
In Egypt, local dealers briefed the delegation on Jiangling’s business performance and demand trends for key models.

Both sides held in-depth discussions on future product planning, focusing on pickups, light trucks, and new energy vehicles.
They reached a consensus that the new Baodian pickup will be a key future cooperation project, expected to further enhance Jiangling’s market share and competitiveness in Egypt.

Qiu Tiangao said Jiangling will continue to support key projects in the Egyptian market and provide the necessary resources to accelerate new model launches and expand the local product portfolio.
Strengthening Global Strategy and Driving Export Growth
In recent years, Jiangling has continued to advance its global strategy, with Africa gradually developing into a region with established sales networks and localized production capabilities.

This visit to three African countries focused on frontline market insights and cooperation models, further strengthening confidence among dealers and partners.
Looking ahead, Jiangling will continue to focus on product strength and service capability, deepen cooperation with global partners, optimize its international market layout, and support high-quality export growth.
