As urban delivery, e-commerce logistics and last-mile transportation continue to grow in Southeast Asia, WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle (WEICHAI LANDKING) showcased its LPE4 electric mini truck at the Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partners Conference in Vietnam, presenting a green transport solution developed for global urban logistics markets.

Designed for global urban logistics markets, the LPE4 is available in both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive configurations, enabling WEICHAI LANDKING to better meet the diverse needs of customers across Southeast Asia and other overseas markets. Combining a compact design with strong payload capability, it offers flexible handling, efficient operation and lower running costs for applications such as urban delivery, retail distribution and light-duty freight.

The LPE4 is powered by WEICHAI’s self-developed new energy powertrain, providing reliable and efficient performance. It comes with two battery options, 56.09 kWh and 64.58 kWh, giving customers more flexibility for different operating needs. The vehicle also supports DC fast charging to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

The LPE4 delivers a maximum power output of 115 kW and peak torque of 270 N·m, providing strong performance for urban roads, slopes and frequent stop-and-go operations. Combined with WEICHAI’s electronic control system and optimized power management, the vehicle achieves efficient power delivery while helping reduce operating costs.

Built with a high-strength body structure, the LPE4 is available in 3.5-ton and 5-ton versions. The 5-ton model supports a maximum payload of around 2.5 tons and comes with a maintenance-free HANDE rear axle, making it suitable for intensive urban logistics operations.

With a cargo body length of up to 4,200 mm, the LPE4 is designed for urban delivery, retail restocking and light-duty logistics. Its single-row cab features comfortable seats, air conditioning, a 10-inch digital instrument display and a multifunction steering wheel, helping drivers work more comfortably during daily operations.

As demand for new energy logistics vehicles grows in Southeast Asia, the LANDKING LPE4, with both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive models, is designed to deliver efficient, reliable and cost-effective green transport solutions for customers across the region and other overseas markets.
