DECH ZHIZI has partnered with a leading mining and logistics company in Oman to put the country’s first pure electric tractor truck for mining operations into service.

The launch ceremony was recently held in Salalah, Oman, marking the entry of DECH ZHIZI’s new energy heavy trucks into the Omani market.

The project supports Oman’s low-carbon development goals under Oman Vision 2040. It is designed to promote the use of clean energy in mining and logistics, reduce carbon emissions and support more sustainable operations.

At the launch ceremony, the CEO of the Omani company said the electric tractor project is an important step in the country’s efforts to reduce emissions from mining transport.

Through the partnership, the two companies will explore new energy transport solutions tailored to mining operations in Oman. The focus will be on improving transport efficiency at mining sites while supporting Oman’s environmental sustainability and carbon neutrality goals.

For DECH ZHIZI, the project is another step in its international expansion. The company is using its new energy heavy truck technology and overseas service network to expand its presence in the Middle East and bring its electric heavy trucks to more international markets.

DECH ZHIZI plans to further strengthen cooperation with overseas partners and provide integrated green transport solutions for mining, infrastructure and other industries.

As the global transport industry moves toward lower emissions, DECH ZHIZI will continue to work with partners around the world to promote the use of electric heavy trucks and support the transition to more sustainable mining and logistics operations.
