On the evening of September 9, SANY TRUCK's strategic partner in Turkey, FMT, held a market launch event at Çırağan Palace in Istanbul. Executives from both companies, local business partners and media representatives attended the event.

Attendees included Liang Linhe, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY TRUCK; Han Shouliang, Vice President of SANY Group and Chairman of its Construction Vehicle Business Division; and Liu Fengfeng, General Manager of SANY TRUCK's Overseas Marketing Company, along with FMT's senior executives.

At the event, SANY's SE636 electric heavy-duty truck made its debut in Turkey. Equipped with a 636 kWh battery, the truck is also the first mass-produced vehicle to roll off the production line at the KD assembly plant jointly developed by SANY TRUCK and FMT in Turkey.

Under the partnership, SANY TRUCK provides key components and technical standards, while the local plant handles vehicle assembly and adaptation to local market needs. This gives SANY TRUCK a local production base in Turkey and is expected to support local employment and the development of related industries.

SANY TRUCK is also building its sales network in the country. During the launch event, the company and its local partners signed dealer agreements and officially appointed authorized dealers. The network covers key areas, including Ankara, Nevşehir, Izmir and Mersin.

With local production and dealer operations taking shape, SANY TRUCK is building a business network in Turkey that covers manufacturing, sales, after-sales service, spare parts and technical support. This will help the company better serve local customers and expand into nearby markets.

Located between Europe and Asia, Turkey is an important base for reaching markets in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. Working with local partners will help SANY TRUCK strengthen its local operations and support its wider regional expansion.

SANY TRUCK will take another step in its European expansion on September 15, when it joins forces with Putzmeister for their first joint appearance at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany. The companies have invited global partners to visit their exhibits and test-drive their vehicles.

By combining local production and sales operations in Turkey with a presence at major international trade shows, SANY TRUCK is working to expand its business across Europe and neighboring markets.
