In 2017, China National Heavy-duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (CNHTC) sold 3,685 units Steyr muck trucks. For the whole year, all its orders received for muck trucks reached 4,120 units, reaching a new record high.

In July, 2016, CNHTC rolled out its new generation Steyr intelligent muck truck, which became an immediate success in the market. In that year, the vehicle sold about 300 units. However, in just two years, the annual sales volume of the truck has grown in ten times.

Steyr muck truck is equipped with Hardox high-strength U-shaped steel cargo container made by Sweden. With a weight 15%-20% lower than its counterparts, the cargo container can load 600-800 kg more goods. With air sealing bar, the cargo container effectively prevents any leakage during the transportation and achieves higher environmental friendliness.

In 2018, CNHTC will strengthen its efforts in diversifying its product line and marketing its engineering vehicles. It aims to increase its total sales volume of engineering vehicles to 10,000 units and that of its muck trucks to 7,300 units. In addition, CNHTC’s Sitrak self-dumping vehicles are scheduled to enter the muck, coal, sand and stone transport market very soon in this year. (www.chinatrucks.com)
