On August 9, a delegation from the Mexican Anhui Chamber of Commerce visited Windrose Technology for an exchange and inspection. The group included Secretary-General Zhao Wen, leaders from Shanghai Gales Consulting, and the Global Alliance of SMEs. Local officials, including Chen Zhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Baohe Economic Development Zone, also joined the visit.

Mr. Chen Haoli, Co-Founder, President, and CTO of Windrose Technology, welcomed the delegation and introduced the company’s core technologies, global business layout, and future plans. Windrose’s pure electric heavy trucks are already operating in 17 countries and are expected to expand to 33 countries by 2026. With Mexico ranking 13th in global GDP in 2023, the country is seen as a highly promising market. Delegates showed strong interest in Windrose’s projects in France, the Netherlands, Denmark, the U.S., and Australia.

During the visit, Windrose highlighted the key advantages of its electric heavy trucks. The vehicles use an aerodynamic design with a world-leading drag coefficient of 0.2755. An innovative chassis makes room for large battery packs up to 729 kWh, giving the trucks a range of 670 km when fully loaded and about 1,100 km when empty. The megawatt fast-charging system can add 400 km of range in just 35 minutes. The trucks are compatible with over 300 public charging stations worldwide, supporting CCS1, CCS2, MCS, and GB/T standards. With up to four motors, the trucks deliver a peak output of 1,400 horsepower. Their 800V high-voltage system and high-density batteries achieve very low energy consumption—just 1.096 kWh per kilometer.

Windrose trucks have also proven their reliability in extreme environments, successfully operating under 48°C heat, -32°C cold, and at altitudes of 4,700 meters. The company has a global network including its headquarters and assembly center in Antwerp, Belgium, an R&D and testing center in Hefei, China, and a headquarters in Shanghai. This setup supports its international business, including future expansion in Mexico. Windrose has also been featured by Reuters, the Financial Times, Bloomberg, and Nikkei, and has attracted attention from global leaders.

During the exchange, Chen Zhen said that Windrose Technology is a leader in China’s new energy heavy truck industry and represents a high level of innovation. He noted that Mexico has great market potential and looked forward to cooperation in green logistics. Zhao Wen, Secretary-General of the Mexican Anhui Chamber of Commerce, thanked Windrose for the reception and said the delegation was deeply impressed by the company’s strength. He added that Mexico’s logistics industry urgently needs efficient and eco-friendly transport solutions, and the Chamber will support cooperation between Windrose and Mexican businesses.
