Zhengzhou Nissan Opens the 2nd Production Plant in September

(chinatrucks.com, Feb.12, 2010)It is reported that Zhengzhou Nissan General Manager Guo Zhenfu officially released the "10.20 Plan", which presented at year 2010 Zhengzhou Nissan will be selling 100,000 units, 200,000 units by the year 2012.
As early as 2008, Zhengzhou Nissan began a strategic layout, and published the Nissan brand high-end light truck Cabstar and Dongfeng brands ShuaiKe two models in 2009. Moreover, with the second plant into operation this year, coupled with the adjustment of product mix, Zhengzhou Nissan regard 2010 as a year of great-leap-forward development.
This reporter has learned that this second plant is invested jointly by DFL, a subsidiary of listed company "Dongfeng Automobile" and Nissan with 1 billion Yuan. According to Nissan's global design and planning standards, the new plant will reach 12 million units production capacity. At present, the new plant has been completed assembly, welding, painting workshops and other infrastructure construction, is expected to officially put into operation in September.
