JAC to cooperate with Caterpillar to manufacture heavy truck

(chinatrucks.com, June 13, 2010) JAC, Caterpillar Inc and Navistar International Group have nearly reached the joint-adventure plan with 586 million dollars, including truck and dieselmanufacturer cooperative programs.
As for diesel dieselprogram, JAC and Caterpillar will each take 50% assets. And the planned heavy truck company will establish at Hefei manufacturer base, and the initial capacity is 40,000.
If everything is going smooth, it will provide JAC a new development opportunity. JAC is mainly manufacturing various auto parts and components, an it will attempts to manufacture small autos and heavy trucks.
