ZF to set up a transmission plant in America

(chinatrucks.com, July 28, 2010) Auto transmission supplier, ZF, is to set up a plant in South Carolina with investment 350 million dollars. The Laurens plant in South Carolina will supply fuel prudence transmission for passenger vehicles and light trucks.
ZF plans to set up the plant in 2011, and recruit employees in 2012 to produce rear wheel drive 8 transmissions.
