Scania has gained 119 military truck orders

(chinatrucks.com, Sep 13, 2010) “Road king” Scania has signed an agreement with NAMSA, which contains that Scania will provide 31 full wheel drive trucks to Luxembourg military. And 13 of them have the exploration insist and bullets insist functions. At the same time, FMV has ordered 88 logistics trucks from Scania, and 4 of them will be applied to drivers’ training.
31 trucks ordered by Luxembourg military are four axles full wheeling driving Scania G480 8x8 vehicles. And 13 of them will be equipped with the updated bullets insist system in accordance with STANAG III standard. This batch will be delivered in 2011, and they will be used in peace maintenance activities.

The other orders are coming from Sweden military department. As part of the agreement, 80 three axles Scania G400 6x2 logistics military trucks will be included. Furthermore, Sweden military equipment administration has ordered 8 four wheeling Scania P400 8x2 trucks.
