(chinatrucks.com, Sep 28, 2010) Sales volumes of Weichai engine at the first half in 2010 is nearly 300,000, which is equals to 90% of the annual sales volumes in 2009. Furthermore, sales volume of heavy truck engine is 220,000, and it equals to the annual sales volumes in 2009.

Production volumes are more than sales volumes of Weichai engine at the first half of 2010. Sales volumes of Fast transmission equipped with heavy truck are 490,000 at the first half of 2010. It equals to 92% of the annual sales volumes in 2009. Sales volumes of Shaanxi heavy truck is 60,000, and sales volumes of semi-trailer tractors are 20,000, which has increased 296% by the same time.

Diesel engine family has been slowly completed. At the moment, heavy truck engine has taken 35% to 40% market shares. The engine with 5-7L launched at the market from Dec 2008 aims at medium and heavy truck market. It has completed the match with partial vehicles.It is predicted that sales volumes in 2011 will get break through.
