(chinatrucks.com, Sep 29, 2010) It is disclosed by Russian commercial vehicle manufacturer GAZ on Sep 27th, 2010 that Russia GAZ group plans to produce China heavy truck in Ural Mountain plant with FAW.

FAW will provide new generation heavy truck technology, and GAZ will provide manufacture equipment. China FAW has owned new production line, obtaining the technology permit certificate of western main auto manufacturer. It is very competitive. GAZ represents that it will sign the final 50:50 JV agreement as soon as possible.

The largest competitor of Russia heavy truck market is the Europe import products. At the moment, Miass plant of GAZ group is only producing off-road vans. It is predicted that the annual profits of GAZ are 2,760 million Dollars.
