(chinatrucks.com, Oct 22, 2010) Volvo Trucks has announced on Oct 20th, 2010 that it will test LNG diesel hybrid truck in Sweden. When liquefying LNG and diesel have been mixed with the proportion of 75/25, the driving range of diesel hybrid truck is 500~1000km. It depends on the driving conditions, and it has adopted the compressed LNG and the running range is four times of Otto engine Natural gas trucks.

Natural gas adoption is the bridge of low carbon transportation. Biology gas has been produced in many countries. It will take some years for oil to reproducible fuel.

The carbon emission will be reduced 80% when the truck has adopted 80% pure biology gas and 20% pure biology diesel.
