(chinatrucks.com, Jan 20, 2011) It is said by Guopu Xiao, the general manager of SIH Commercial Vehicle department on Jan 10th, 2011 that Shanghai Auto Commercial Vehicle Company will accomplish 500,000 sales volumes by the end of 2015. Three production bases, including Chongqing, Nanjing, and Wu Xi have been realized. Three key parts and components production base will also be formed. It will greatly develop engine, transmission and axle business.

As the important truck area of Shanghai Auto, SIH will make great efforts to realize 100,000 vehicles sales volumes by the end of 2015. The export volumes shall surpass 10,000. It will expand the business areas to narrow heavy truck and special vehicles, and it will make SIH to be the R&D center of Iveco global medium and heavy truck.
