Li Dakai, Chairman of FAST, suggested to set China Quality Award to promote quality of various Chinese products, like the famous National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. 

As he introduced, there are quite a few awards in many industries, but none of them are influential enough to improve quality development in China. There is no need for enterprises to master the most advanced technology, and the bonus can be much less than five million Yuan. The prize can be awarded to enterprises which continuously do well on reliability and safety.
