www.chinatrucks.com: After starting business for only one year, FAW & GM plans to produce 500,000 vehicles per year after their plants in Qujing in Yunnan Province, Changchun and Harbin founded.

The plant in Qujing was reformed original FAW Hongta Production Base, and the two plants in Changchun and Harbin are new ones. With these plants they are going to compete the first light truck maker in China, and they have to release more competitive products on all the segment markets on light commercial vehicles.

They started to produce Jiefang 501 light trucks in Qujing and Harbin, and their pickups, SUV, MPV and light buses are going to be made in Changchun.
