Chinese major automaker Dongfeng Motor based in central China's Hubei province has set a high target to produce and sell two million vehicles in the next five years, according to the company's General Manager Xu Ping.

The company will optimize its structure, upgrade technology, and enhance profitability at the same time, said Xu.

This year, the company will focus on the development of self-owned brand and energy-saving and emission reduction products. He said Dongfeng is also planning to explore international markets.
