Dimethyl Ether is mainly used as spray can propellant, and it is also ideal to be used as fuel in diesel engine as its low auto ignition temperature and high cetane number. There are no soot particles when burning, and nitric oxide emitted is also rather little. In this way, its CO2 emission is 95% less than conventional diesel engine.
