Pressed by rising cost on materials, most Chinese heavy duty truck makers have raised their truck prices. Truck makers including Sinotruk, FAW, Dongfeng, Shannxi Auto and Foton have raised their truck prices by nearly Us$ 800. In July 2008, China heavy duty truck will apply Euro III emission standard. By then, it is estimated that heavy duty truck price will be raised by nearly Us$ 6000 in China.
