Dongfeng heavy trucks to assemble in Taiwan

www.chinatrucks.com: Yulon Group, the largest auto maker in Taiwan, announced that they will absobe and assemble Dongfeng heavy trucks, and the trucks will be sold in the end of this year. This is the first time for mainland China trucks to be introduced in Taiwan.
There is no history of production and assembling heavy vehicles in Taiwan, and Yulon Group has cooperated with Dongfeng in some projects already.
378,000 auto were sold last year in Taiwan, up 15% over previous year. Yulon entered mainland China auto markets as early as 1995, and they are build Soueast Auto Group with Fujian Auto Group and Japanese Mitsubishi Auto. Dongfeng Yulon was set up in the end of 2010.
