Great Wall Motor, a mainland truck maker, said yesterday its A-share listing is "in progress" and it has no intention to issue more H-shares.

The company, which has already traded shares in Hong Kong, has applied to mainland regulators for its A-share float, pending for approval.

It plans to issue 121.7 million A-shares in Shanghai to fund its production and research and development. The firm didn't say how much it expects to raise from the share sale.
