Fierce competition on China commercial vehicle markets

www.chinatrucks.com: Production and sales volumes of Sinotruk decreased by 37.05% and 36.90% from Jan. to May, and this is not the first time for them to declare gloomy data. Sinotruk revenues decreased by 9.84% over last year, and their net profits decreased by 46.13%.
CAAM declared the sales data from Jan to May, and their sales decreased by 10.31%, and production and sales of cargo vans decreased by 6.34% and 6.06%, and production and sales of semi-trailer tractors decreased by 18.75% and 30%. Among heavy truck makers, sales of Dongfeng decreased by 30.4%, and sales of FAW decreased by 27.4% and Sinotruk down 34.9%, and Shaanxi Auto and Foton down 27.1% and 28.4%.
