Volvo Trucks I-See system reduces 5% fuel consumption

www.chinatrucks.com: Volvo I-See system can guide drivers like a navigator to make good use of slopes to save fuel as much as possible, namely it can make use of trucks' energy of motion to climb slopes and then speed-up when down the slope.
I-See connects with gearbox inclination sensor to get terrain digital information, and it can get as many as 4,000 pieces of such info.
I-See system can save as mush as 5% oil consumption according to stimulation and road tests if a truck can run for 140,000 km per year.
