Demands for Trucks Decreased 9.7% in August among EU

www.chinatrucks.com: As shown in the statistics released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) yesterday, the demands for heavy trucks fell on a sequential basis of 7.3% and 9.7% respectively in July and August among countries of the European Union. ACEA said that all the markets has shrunk, among which, Germany market shrank by 6.8%, French market by 8.4%, British market by 10.4%, Spanish market by 12.3% and Italian market by 12.4%.

In August, only the British market reached a year-on-year growth and the markets in Germany, France, Spain and Italy were all faced with a double-digit decline. In July and August, the total demands for commercial vehicle among the countries of European Union fell by 5.1% and 12.4% respectively.
