Dongfeng Releases Sales Data for Jan. 2013

www.chinatrucks.com: Dongfeng sold a total of 130,000 vehicles in January, representing year-on-year growth of 21.1 percent. A total of 101,000 Dongfeng passenger automobiles and 29,000 commercial vehicles were sold during the month. Respective year-on-year growth figures for both automobile types were 25.6 percent and 7.9 percent.

Meanwhile, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle managed to sell 35,000 vehicles in January, equivalent to year-on-year growth of 52.4 percent. The subsidiary company sold nearly 10,000 medium and heavy trucks, making it the most successful Chinese company in the segment last month.
Dongfeng Liuzhou sold 23,000 vehicles last month, nearly double the amount it sold last January, with the sales growth rate were 92.4 percent.
