www.chinatrucks.com : According to an agreement, Yuchai, Beiben together with FIRMACO ventured in establishing of Baotou Beiben Yuchai Engine Company, which will produce diesel engines and gas engines, such as YC6A、YC6L、YC6MK and YC6K.

Reporter learned that the joint venture will build a engine plant in Baotou with 1.51 billion RMB. The construction will be finished in three steps. And the final output will be 100,000 units per year.

As we all know, Beiben is the only one that do not own a engine plant among the top eight heavy duty truck makers. And Yuchai has always been a strong leader in the diesel engine market. The cooperation between Beiben and Yuchai will enable Yuchai access to northern market and help Beiben better develop it’s heavy duty truck business.
