FAW Group sold over 117,000 cars and commercial trucks in the month of August, an increase of 19.4 percent over the same month last year. Passenger car sales accounted for some 94,000 units, rising 23.9 percent over 2006. Medium and heavy truck sales jumped 24.7 percent to 11,000 units.

　　During the January-August sales period, FAW Group has totally sold 926,000 units, an increase of 23.6 percent over the same period last year. Passenger car sales rose 25.3 percent to 723,000 units. Brisk sales of medium and heavy trucks saw sales leap 48.4 percent to 112,000 units.
